A note from the founder
Life must continue, even when you’re not there.
I’m Praveer Kumar, the founder of amoviti — a Family Continuity System that helps the people you love know where things are, what to do and who to call.

My story
My family’s life depended on information that lived in my head
I’ve spent more than 20 years building software and leading engineering teams, mostly around cybersecurity, cloud platforms and complex enterprise systems. I’ve spent my career thinking about how systems work, how they fail and how to make them more resilient.
But at home, I realized there was a very different kind of system I hadn’t really thought about.
I knew where the important documents were. I knew about the accounts, the insurance, the property, the financial details, the contacts and all the little things that keep a household running. I knew what needed to be done and who needed to be called.
As a husband and father, I started asking myself a simple question: what happens if I’m suddenly not available? Not necessarily something as final as death — what if I’m traveling, in an accident, seriously ill or simply unreachable for a while?
Would my family know
- where everything is?
- what to do?
- who to call?
- the instructions only I could give them?
That question stayed with me.
Why I built amoviti
Families have the information. They just can’t use it when it matters.
Most families have plenty of important information. It is scattered across email, filing cabinets, cloud storage, apps, bank and insurance portals, lawyers’ offices — and, most of all, the memory of one or two people.
We have systems for running businesses.
We have systems for managing money.
We have systems for protecting data.
We didn’t have a simple system to help a family keep going when the person who holds everything together isn’t there.
A family doesn’t just need somewhere to put documents. It needs context, instructions, organization and trusted access — so the right people can find the right information at the moment they need it.
That became amoviti. I call it a Family Continuity System: one place to organize the information, documents, instructions and trusted access that matter, so the people you love aren’t left piecing everything together during an already difficult moment.
Mission and purpose
What amoviti is for
Our mission
Every family ready for the moment life changes
Most families keep their most important information scattered — in inboxes, drawers and one person’s memory. We started amoviti to change that: one trusted place that keeps a family organized every day and, when it matters most, carries out your instructions — telling the people you trust and giving each of them what they need.
Our purpose
To equip the people you trust — not replace them. amoviti gives them your documents, a safe way in and the steps you want followed, so they can act without guessing.
Our principle
Clarity under stress. Everything we build is designed for someone who may be overwhelmed, grieving or in a hurry: the next thing to do first, short steps, nothing to decode.
Because life must continue, even when you’re not there.
Preparing isn’t about expecting the worst. It’s about being responsible for the people who depend on you.— Praveer
